During the last month I was starting to get frustrated of figuring out my life, or atleast my summer…
But - as it always does, sooner or later - it all worked out!! After sending out tons of applications and having some more interviews, my determination has brought me my dream job and I don’t even have to leave the city for it!
No… my job for the summer will be BEACH BABE ! I’ll be mostly spending my days on English Bay (downtown beach), renting out kayaks, guiding tours around the bay and Stanley Park and talking to people to get them exited to rent a kayak or do a tour with me! And who doesn’t want to do that? And ofcourse I can work on my amazing tan all day . I guess all those family kayaking trips back in the days are finally paying off. Thanks dad!

Also the never ending rain (yes March counted 3 completely dry days) finally stopped for the last few days and the sun actually made a re-appearance to give me some nice rosy cheeks.. so now I’m getting even more exited about this summer!

Unfortunately I do have to invest a lot of money in the instructor course and first aid… so whether I’ll be making enough money to go travelling in September is the next question… donations please! But even though I will be poor, at least I will be enjoying this view for the summer:
